U OF I SOUTHERN IL SUMMER TWILIGHT SERIES CONTINUES NEXT WEEK

(ALBION/OLNEY) The University of Illinois Extension will continue with its Southern Illinois Summer Twilight Series to highlight diverse farming operations in our downstate region. The June meeting coming up this Monday, the 17th, is at McLane Farms, a 3,000 acre farm in Union County, featuring a largemouth bass fish farm, diverse row crop farm with rice and much more, located just west of Jonesboro, off of State Route 146. All are invited to attend the free in-person program, but registration is required by calling 618-695-2441 or by going online to the go.illinois.edu/twilightseries website. The two remaining programs will be July 15th at Blessed Blooms in Fairfield & August 19th at Sunnybrook Gardens in Carmi.
