(WAYNE COUNTY) The 2024 Elm River Chowder is this Saturday in rural Wayne County, either six miles south of Clay City off of Route 50 or four miles east of the Rinard Crossroad off of Route 45. With the serving of chowder at around 12:30, folks should bring their own containers, but no plasitc or glass, and it’s all by donation. With the chowder also served by the bowl, other food available includes pulled pork sandwiches, nachos, homemade pies, & more. It’s all on the chowder grounds on the northern bank of the Elm River. All invited.
