(FREEPORT) The 2024 Illinois Dairy Summit will be held in northern Illinois next month. Hosted by the Illinois Milk Producers Association (IMPA) and the University of Illinois Extension, the summit will be an in-person-only event, to be held Wednesday, February 7th, at Highland Community College in Freeport. The annual summit will focus on possible innovative ways to tackle a predicted increase in production expenses coupled with a potential drop in farm income. While free, pre-registration is requested with lunch that day provided with milk snacks courtesy of Prairie Farms. The registration deadline is January 31st.
