(TEUTOPOLIS) The National Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee has announced some of the 2025 inductees to be recognized later this year in Teutopolis. While not fully released as of yet, here’s an early list of the of those to be honored on November 21st, 2025 :
FORMER STUDENT ATHLETE CATEGORY
East Richland High School and Ohio State University graduate and girls basketball player Brittany Johnson, now an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Northwestern University
PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE CATEGORY
Newton Community High School and Wabash Valley College graduate and former Major League Baseball player Ross Wolf, retiring with the Texas Rangers in 2016
TWELFTH MAN AWARD CATEGORY
long-time Effingham School District Junior High and High School Basketball scorekeeper, sports official, and sports volunteer Bill Farrey
COACHES CATEGORY
Ron Reed, former head high school boys basketball coach at North Clay in Louisville, plus in Lawrenceville and Effingham
Justin Fleener, current head baseball coach at Teutopolis High School
