(SPRINGFIELD) Nominations will close soon for the coveted Illinois Beef Association’s (IBA) 2026 producer awards program, which for the past 50 years has awarded beef producers in an effort to recognize excellence in the industry. The IBA is looking to highlight a 2026 Farm Family of the Year winner, along with five other award categories as well, including Seedstock Breeder of the Year, Commercial Producer of the Year, Environmental Steward of the Year, Overall Member of the Year, and Outstanding Junior of the Year. Those in our downstate area who are worthy of receiving one of these awards should be nominated before the deadline of March 27th, a week from tomorrow.
