(NEWTON) The 8th Annual “Wave of Light” event in Jasper County is coming up next Tuesday night at Sam Parr State Park, northeast of Newton, starting at 7:00, at the White Oak Area. Sponsored by the Jasper County Pregnancy & Infant Loss Group, those planning to attend are asked to arrive early, by at least 6:45, as the wave of candlelight will fill the park as the names of all babies’ lives gone too soon will be read. All family, friends, neighbors, and others are invited out next Tuesday night to support those who have experienced the loss of an infant in Jasper County .
