(DECATUR) International buyers from six countries visited the nation’s largest outdoor farm show last week as part of the 29th annual Illinois Grain Tour, hosted by the Illinois Department of Agriculture. There were 21 representatives from Peru, Columbia, Nicaraqua, El Salvador, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic that visited the Farm Progress Show in Decatur as the statewide tour ended last Friday. IDOA officials say things look good to at least match or possibly exceed last year’s projected sales total of $159 million, which was $30 million higher than the year before.
