REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) The dry and warmer-than-normal heat is again in our downstate area forecast for this final day in September 2025 and it appears we’ll have more of the same as the new month of October arrives this week. It’s all due to an omega block that will likely stay a top the country for the rest of this work week. In fact, the potential for low end wind gusts later this week, combind with dry ground conditions and low relative humidity levels could lead to an elevated fire risk. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and weather forecast details.
