(VINCENNES) An Edwards County man is dead after a single vehicle traffic crash occurred at around 12:00 noon yesterday in Knox County, Indiana. Authorities there report that 48 year old Karl Case of West Salem was traveling south on U.S. Route 41, south of Vincennes, when his semi-truck hauling coal crossed the median and both northbound lanes before overturning in a cornfield. Case was pronounced deceased at the scene and investigators believe he may have suffered a medical issue prior to the crash. No one else was involved as the investigation is continuing by Knox County, Indiana authorities.
