St. Anthony beat Robinson for third place, 15-14
Effingham and Mattoon tied for fifth place at 10 points each
Olney tied Casey-Westfield for seventh place, each at 6 points
then it was Charleston (4) and Shelbyville (0)
among those advancing to the Class 1A State Tournament this weekend

Newton’s Olivia Sornberger winning the singles competition
Newton’s Jailyn Hall finishing third the singles bracket

Flora won the Centralia Sectional beating out Highland and Salem, 31-22-17
Mt. Carmel, Fairfield, Vandalia, and Centralia all tied for fifth place, each with 6 points
among those advancing to the State Tournament
