FALL FERTILIZER PRICES MOSTLY HIGHER

(BLOOMINGTON) Prices are higher for fertilizers this fall in Illinois. According to a recent seller survey by DTN, anhydrous ammonia leads the price increase at 8% higher compared to last month, making it the only fertilizer with a significant price move. The prices for four other fertilizers were up slightly from last month, including DAP, MAP, potash, and 10-34-0. Urea led a group of three fertilizers that saw reductions in average prices since last month. However, prices for all eight fertilizers surveyed are now higher compared to one year ago.
