REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As an approaching cold front from central Wisconsin and southeast Iowa into northwest Missouri continues to drop southeastward into Illinois, it will switch our wind from south/southwest from the west/northwest this afternoon, however above normal temperatures are expected to follow for most of this work week. Our next fairly good chance of rain will be late Thursday night through Friday as another cold front will move through our downstate area. Then with a chance of more rain Saturday night, most of the upcoming weekend appears to be dry with a little cooler air in place. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
