(OLNEY) Due to the expected cold weather and strong winds, tomorrow’s 2025 Veterans Day Parade in downtown Olney has been cancelled and will not be held. However, the Veterans Day Program will be held, but moved from the Courthouse Lawn to the Olney VFW Post Home. Starting at 11:00, the Program will still include the Pledge of Allegiance, the Star Spangled Banner, a 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, and prayer, plus afterwards, all Veterans are invited to the Olney VFW for a free lunch of ham and beans, cornbread, and chili, plus all others are welcome to eat for a free will donation at the door. Again, that’s no Veterans Day Parade tomorrow with the Veterans Day Program to be held at the Olney VFW.
