(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met in regular session this past Monday night. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : approved the payment of two bills associated with the Village’s sewer lagoon grant project – $302,030 and $27,203 to Followell Construction Company for its bypass piping, sludge removal, and baffle replacement work : adopted the Tax Levy and collection of taxes for the fiscal year beginning May 1st, 2025, for a total of $91,200, an increase of 4.97% from last year’s levied amount : agreed to seek bids to have the drainage issue repaired on East Cherry and Palmer Streets : in personnel – approved the recommendation of its Personnel Committee and hired Debbie Wilson for the Village’s part-time secretary at an hourly pay of $17.00 with a potential increase in 2026 : noted that the Village’s leaf collection is continuing Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 to 3:00 – residents should call Village Hall when leaves are ready for pick up : and noted that Village Hall will be closed both tomorrow and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday : the next regular Noble Village Board meeting is December 8th, 2025.
