at the Effingham/Teutopolis Christmas Classic Tournament

Newton began action with a tough loss to Oregon, 48-54

the Eagles will return with two more games on this Tuesday

first an 11:00 matchup with Pleasant Plains who lost to Teutopolis, 27-57

the Eagles will then play at 4:30 later this afternoon

either at Teutopolis with a win or at Effingham High School with a loss

Newton’s final game of the tournament will then be tomorrow
