(OLNEY) The Richland County Board met last night in Olney for its regular monthly meeting for January. The Board : approved the financial report for December – $102,791 in non-county claims and $99,430 in county general claims : accepted the only bid received for diesel fuel to be purchased in 2026 from Wabash Valley F.S. : amended the county’s Solar Farm ordinance by adding a 20-acre site minimum and approved the permit and inspection fees as well : heard various reports, including the end-of-the-year activity report from the State’s Attorney’s Office : renewed the annual Liquor License for the Mis Tres Potrillos restaurant : re-appointed Chris Waller to the RMTD Board and Larry Dunn to the Housing Authority Board : appointed Tiffany Fulk to the Housing Authority Board : appointed Cynthia Givens to the Southeastern Illinois Economic Development Authority Board : approved an Intergovernmental Agreement with Kane County : and took no action, other than to adjourn, after a closed session to discuss personnel, real estate, and labor union negotiations : the Richland County Board’s next regular monthly meeting is earlier than normal, on Tuesday night, February 10th, 2026, at 7:00.
