(EDWARDSVILLE) State Senator Jason Plummer is co-hosting two upcoming ICASH events this month, all in partnership with the State Treasurer’s Office. With no reservations required, downstate constituents can stop by either location to check if they are owed unclaimed money or property, plus receive assistance in filing a claim. The first event is this coming Monday, January 12th, from 2:00 to 6:00, at Constitution Bank in Hillsboro, followed by the second event two weeks later on Monday, January 26th, from 2:00 to 6:00, at the Effingham City Hall. Since 2015, more than $2 billion in assets have been returned to Illinois citizens. The unclaimed property can include forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, and more.
