(EAST DUNDEE) All four Republican gubernatorial candidates are scheduled to take part in a forum in East Dundee, Illinois later this evening. Darren Bailey, Rick Heidner, Ted Dabrowski, and James Mendrick are competing in the March 17th primary election for the chance to go up against Governor J.B. Pritzker in the November election for Governor. Tonight’s event is scheduled to run from 5:00 until 8:30 and it will be streamed online by the Blue Room Stream network, at blueroomstream.com.

(SPRINGFIELD) The Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security is teaming up with the American Lung Association to launch two statewide poster and video contests for students during the observation of Radon Action Month coming up in March. In an effort to encourage radon testing, high school students can submit commercial-style 30-second videos, while middle school students can enter a poster, with all contest submissions to be made by March 15th. (SPRINGFIELD) The Illinois Supreme Court and Justice Elizabeth M. Rochford have announced the appointment of Julia Ann Yetter as a Circuit Judge in Kane County. Yetter has served as an associate judge in the 16th Circuit since 2018. Yetter was appointed to replace Judge Kevin T. Busch, who is retiring near the end of this month, on January 29th. 2026.
