(NEWTON/OLNEY) There are three area board meetings coming up tonight :
- the Newton City Council meets tonight at the Newton City Hall, starting at 6:00.
- the IECC Board meets tonight at Lincoln Trail College near Robinson, at 6:15.
- the Jasper County School Board meets tonight in Newton, beginning at 6:30.
All of the meetings are open to the public, with the exception of any executive sessions.

(OLNEY) It’s been announced that the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #30 will NOT have a meeting this month in January. So, again, that’s no meeting for the Legion Auxiliary this month.

(OLNEY) It’s been announced that the Olney City Council will hold a special meeting this Thursday evening, January 22nd, starting at 6:00, at the Olney Fire Station, at 501 North Walnut Street, in Olney. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a work session to prioritize projects for the coming year. The meeting will be open to the public with no YouTube stream available.
