(OLNEY/NEWTON) A reminder that due to the recent hard freeze and subsequent thaw, some or most all area roads are posted with weight limits until further notice. This includes all roads in Preston Township, posted with 10 ton weight limits, and the temporary 10 ton weight restriction on most Richland County maintained highways. However, the Ste. Marie Road, north of U.S. Route 50, and the Noble to Wakefield Road, are exempt from the weight limit restrictions. All drivers should be alert to load limit signs that have been posted on area township or county roads. If any questions, call the respective township road commissioner or county highway department.
