(OLNEY/NEWTON) In area meetings coming up this week :
- The City of Olney’s Board of Fire and Police Commissioners have a special meeting tomorrow afternoon (3/3/26) at the Olney Fire Department, starting at 3:45 – the purpose of the special meeting is to discuss potential rules and regulations changes
- The Newton City Council has a regularly scheduled meeting tomorrow night (3/3/26) at the Newton City Hall, beginning at 6:00 – a closed session to discuss personnel is included along with several new business items, one old business item, and more
- The Richland County School Board of Education has a special meeting Wednesday evening (3/4/26) at the Unit Office Board Room, starting at 5:00 – the meeting’s purpose is to discuss personnel, student discipline, and litigation, mostly in executive session
The meetings are open to the public, with the exception of any executive sessions.
