REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) With an average of one to two inches of rain overnight, a NWS Flood Watch for all of our listening area will expire this morning and we’ll dry out a bit for the rest of today. After a slight chance of more rain late tonight through tomorrow morning, the next chance of heavy rainfall will be Friday night through Saturday morning, plus an elevated risk of possible severe weather as a cold front moves across Illinois. Then we’re back to plenty of sunshine on Sunday and Monday, although another chance of rain by midweek next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
