(OLNEY) At the WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service official weather station for Olney and Richland County, a new record high temperature was recorded for this past Friday, March 6th, when our high temperature that day of 78 degrees broke the previous record high of 74 degrees, which was originally set 116 years ago on March 6th, 1910. Also noted is the rain that has fallen at the WVLN-WSEI weather station at the south edge of Olney, with rain recorded during each of the first seven days in March, totaling three inches and four tenths (3.40).
