REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) It’s another day of above normal temperatures for our downstate area as we’ll stay dry on this Tuesday ahead of our next chance of rainy and possible stormy weather conditions. With most of the rain and storms in Illinois staying to our north today thru tonight, the storm system will drop into southern Illinois early tomorrow morning with our rain chances Wednesday through Wednesday night. We’ll dry out and cool down a bit on Thursday and after dry days on Friday and Saturday, a winter weather system will bring us rain Sunday and much colder air with maybe snow Sunday night and colder air into the first of next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
