(OLNEY) The IECC District has announced it will host its first-ever coordinated “Day of Giving” on Tuesday, March 31st, bringing together the four campuses in Olney, Fairfield, Mt. Carmel, and near Robinson to support student success. The 24-hour event invites alumni, local businesses, and community members to give monetary donations toward scholarships, programs, and student-focused initiatives throughout the District. From small to large, all donations will make a difference for the students, whether it’s for required textbooks, a certification exam, to cover part of their tuition, or whatever else. Beyond fundraising, the one-day event is designed to strengthen connections between the colleges and the communities they serve, plus it helps build strong relationships between the colleges, their foundations, their alumni, and their communities.
