the Olney Tigers won the 50-team Gene Armer Invitational in Champaign-Urbana
Olney was crowned the invite champs by beating Belleville East by a half point, 50.5 to 50
Normal Community was third with 37 points, followed by Morton at 35 points
Champaign Central was fifth at 30, then Kankakee at 27 and Bethalto Civic Memorial at 25
Mascoutah was seventh at 24, then Jacksonville at 22, Danville and Monticello each at 21
Olney had eight top five finishers, including two winners
Judah Dicks won the 3200 meter run and Gavyn Cothern won the long jump
Gavin Root was 2nd in the high jump
Tristin Butler was 3rd in the 1600 meter run
Ian Pianfetti was 4th in the 60 meter dash and 5th in the 200 meter dash
Aiden Germak was 5th in the 400 meter run
Maverik Cordell was 5th in the pole vault
