(OLNEY/NEWTON) With our downstate area weather turning cooler from near-record warmth on Friday through Saturday and cooler yet yesterday, it will remain cooler today, although with plenty of sunshine on tap. Plus our weekend rainfall was mostly lower than anticipated here at the south edge of Olney, with two-thirds of an inch, although areas to our north had upwards of one to two inches of rain on average, even more in some locations. But we’ll stay mostly dry this week until Friday afternoon when our high temperatures will rebound to around 70. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
