(OLNEY/NEWTON) A weakening line of rain and some thunderstorms, aligned with a surface cold front, will move into central Illinois by this afternoon, although the chances of rain for our downstate area are slim today until later this evening and overnight. A brief period of more dry weather is expected for the rest of the weekend until our next chance of rain by late Sunday night continuing into next week, plus warmer air is in the forecast next week as well. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more forecast details.
