(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a mid-level shortwave weather trough slowly moves out of Illinois, our downstate area rain comes to an end with rain totals between a half inch or less to the south and close to an inch or more further north. We’ll be back to some sunshine tomorrow with another warm day on tap, but another weather system moves through with rain chances late Friday night into Saturday morning before ending. We’ll dry out and cool down a bit for Sunday with a little warmer air moving back in by midweek, next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
