(OLNEY) The Richland County School Board of Education met in special session yesterday afternoon for less than 15 minutes. After the Board heard concerns the tennis community in Olney in regards to its opposition to the positioning of the tennis courts as part of the District’s new Athletic Complex, the Board approved a resolution to appoint Board member Dennis Anderson as secretary pro-tem to perform duties as Board Secretary in regards to the issuance of the new District bonds. The Richland County School Board’s next regular monthly meeting will be May 21st, 2026.
