(OLNEY) There is still time to signup for one of two local Illinois Extension seminars to be held this week on Brain Health, both free of charge. Entitled Rethink and Recall : Understanding Memory & Embracing Change, the seminars are this Wednesday in Olney and Lawrenceville, with the morning event from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Richland County Extension Office in Olney and the afternoon event from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Farm Credit Illinois Offices in Lawrenceville. Robin Ridgley, Extension Health & Family Educator, will discuss the two main topics & explore details about the brain’s relationship to memory & the aging process, plus more. The Jasper County School Board meets tonight in Newton, starting at 6:30.
The Newton City Council meets tomorrow night, beginning at 6:00.
Both meetings are open to the public, with the exception of any executive sessions.
