Newton needed 15 innings to beat Tuscola on the road, 9-7
the Eagles outhit the host Warriors, 16 to 13
Nolen Cleaver was the winning pitcher, throwing a scoreless final two & a third innings
That’s following Gavin Meinhart who allowed no runs and struck out 10 in five & a third
At the plate – Meinhart homered with 2 other hits, 2 RBI, and a run scored
Maddox Horner had 3 hits with a stolen base and an RBI
Quincy Fulton doubled and singled, was hit by a pitch, had a stolen base and a run scored
Eli Wolf had 2 hits with 3 RBI and a run scored
Chance Mulvey had 2 hits and walked with a RBI and a run scored
the Eagles are scheduled to play St. Joseph-Ogden tomorrow at Lake Land College
