Olney won its Class 2A Sectional Semi-Final game over Columbia, 7-2
the Lady Tigers outhit their higher-seeded opponents, 10 to 7
Olney scored all of its runs in the final two innings of the game
Jaylen Gwyn threw the final 2 innings for the win, allowing no runs and striking out two
Gwyn also led Olney at the plate with a double, single, a stolen base, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored
Taylor Bloomer had 2 hits and 2 RBI and Clara Williams had an RBI hit
Kaiya Seessengood had 2 hits, a stolen base, and a run scored
Miranda Dowty had an RBI double with a sacrifice bunt and 1 run scored
Stella Hines and Addison McLaughlin each had a hit and 1 RBI
the Lady Tigers advance to the Sectional Championship game Friday at 4:30 at Nashville
their opponent will be the winner of today’s Flora/Red Bud Semi-Final game at 4:30
