Mid-Week Community Calendar Update: Events and Activities Happening Around the Area

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the community this week! Here are a few upcoming events and reminders to add to your calendar:

Lego Club at Olney Public Library
The Olney Public Library is hosting Lego Club this Thursday at 4 p.m. Local youth are invited to stop by the library, build with Legos, and take on the Lego Challenge. For more information, visit OlneyPublicLibrary.org or check out their Facebook page.

Xtreme Bar Bingo at the Olney American Legion
Xtreme Bar Bingo takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at the Olney American Legion. Early Bird Bingo begins at 6 p.m., with Late Bird Bingo starting at 7 p.m. The event is free to play, with multiple prize opportunities available for winners. Everyone is welcome to stop in and join the fun.

5th Friday Market on Main & MINI Makers Market Coming to Downtown Olney
The Richland County Chamber of Commerce’s 5th Friday Market on Main and MINI Makers Market will take place Friday, July 31st, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Main Street. The event will feature more than 30 young MINI Makers, vendor booths, late-night shopping at downtown businesses, live music by Ol’ Ry, grilled food, and shaved ice from The Sno Drift. Community members are encouraged to come out, support young entrepreneurs, and enjoy an evening downtown.

Queen of Hearts Jackpot Continues to Grow at the Olney VFW
The Olney VFW’s Queen of Hearts jackpot continues to grow, with tickets available all week for just $1 each ahead of Sunday’s drawing. With the Queen of Hearts still waiting to be found, next week’s jackpot will begin at $7,700. The event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to stop by.

Noble Chowder Raffle Tickets Available
Noble Chowder raffle tickets are available for purchase at P&J Market, Salon 124, and Noble Village Hall during regular business hours. With plenty of cash prizes available, tickets will be sold through Chowder Day on Saturday, August 8th. Quilt raffle tickets are also available at P&J Market and Village Hall.
