The 2023 Thanksgiving Tournament at Cumberland High School starts tonight
- Casey-Westfield plays Okaw Valley at 6:00
- Dieterich plays Marshall at 7:30
In tomorrow night’s final two first round games
- the Newton Eagles open up their season against Vandalia at 6:00
- North Clay/Clay City plays the host Pirates at 7:30
The semi-finals will be Friday with the finals on Saturday
(LAWRENCEVILLE/BRIDGEPORT) in Boys High School Hoops –
The 2023 Capital Classic will start this coming Friday in Lawrence County
- the six team tournament has four teams at two sites in round robin action
- with games Friday afternoon and evening and again Saturday morning
- the final four games will then be played Saturday afternoon and evening
The Olney Tigers open their season Friday morning at 11:00
- they’ll be in action at Red Hill High School in Bridgeport against the host Salukis
The other teams at the Bridgeport site include Teutopolis and Salem, at the Lawrenceville site is Mt. Carmel, Vincennes, Fairfield, and the host Indians.
