In upcoming area blood drives : Today (12/13/2023) at the Blood Donation Center in Effingham from 11:30 to 7:30 : Thursday at the Flora Church of the Nazarene from 12:00 to 5:00 : Friday at Oblong Grade School from 8:30 to 2:30 : Friday at the Olney Fire Department from 12:00 to 5:00 : Saturday at the Blood Donation Center in Effingham from 7:00 to 3:00 : all blood types and platelets are needed to replenish low area blood supplies : for an appointment to donate blood, call the American Red Cross’ Blood Donation Center in Effingham, toll-free, at 800-733-2767 or go online to redcrossblood.org.
