(OLNEY) in Boys High School Wrestling from this past Saturday –
Twelve teams competed in the Eastern Illinois Tournament at Robinson,
- Lawrenceville won the event with 193.5 points
- Second place went to the Olney Tigers with 160.5 points on the day
- The host Maroons finished third at 144.5Hoopeston (142) and Carterville (111.5) rounded out the top five
- Then Johnston City (101.5), Paris (93), Herrin (77), and OPH (73.5)
- Followed by Effingham (72.5), Charleston (54), and Mt. Carmel (50.5)
Olney now prepares for the IHSA Class 1A Regional this Saturday at Robinson, there will be a total of eleven teams competing individually.
