(OLNEY) In Boys Junior High Wrestling from this past weekend –
Two Olney Cub graplers did well in State Wrestling up in Rockford, at the IKWF State Novice/Senior Tournaments with hundreds of other athletes.
NOVICE STATE TOURNAMENT
- Makai Steele competed in the Novice 64 pound weight class
- he won 3 matches and lost 1 with 4 pins and an overall 2nd place finish
SENIOR STATE TOURNAMENT
- Gentry Michels competed in the Senior 215 pound weight class
- he won 4 matches and lost 2 with 4 pins and an overall 7th place finish
