Girls High School Cross Country
This weekend at the Laverne Gibson Course in Terre Haute, ten races took place featuring numerous schools:
- The Newton Lady Eagles finished 38th out of 56 participating schools.
- Layna Marshall was the top performer for Newton, securing 31st place among a competitive field of 475 runners.
Boys High School Cross Country
In the boys’ competition, also held at the Laverne Gibson Course:
- The Newton Eagles finished 19th out of 47 schools.
- Jackson Sornberger led the team, finishing in 66th place among 399 total runners.
