(NOBLE) The Noble Village Board met earlier this week on Tuesday night. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : looked over the proposed 2024 Tax Levy for the Village & will consider the levy proposal at the Board’s first meeting in December : approved an ordinance to allow shipping containers to be used within the Village limits, with stipulations – no more than one container per residence, containers must be set on a gravel bed, containers must be painted in a solid color & all numbers on the container must be painted over, all containers must be used for storage only with no electrical or plumbing allowed, no rusty containers allowed, only one trip container allowed and no semi-trailers, and all containers must be placed in a resident’s backyard : in other business, it was noted that the Village’s Personnel Committee will meet next Thursday, November 21st, to review applications for the Treasurer/Secretary position : noted the Village leaf collection program is underway – residents can call Village Hall when leaves are ready to be picked up : the Noble Village Board will have its next regular meeting on Monday night, November 25th.
