(EFFINGHAM) The Illinois State Police Troop Nine has announced special enforcement patrols that will be conducted by Troopers next month in December. The list includes Roadside Safety Checks in Richland County, Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement Patrols in Wayne and Effingham Counties, Nighttime Enforcement Patrols in Lawrence and Marion Counties, and Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols in White and Effingham Counties. All downstate area motorists are encouraged to obey all “rules of the road” while driving.
