(OLNEY/NEWTON) As colder air continues to move into our downstate area today, we’ll stay dry and some sunshine and clouds mixed up. However, an approaching low pressure system tracking towards the Upper Midwest out of the Upper Plains will bring us another shot of reinforced cold air, plus now meteorologists are calling for some light precipitation by daybreak tomorrow morning, either in the form of drizzle or freezing rain before maybe some flurries or light snow later Friday morning. Then it stays cold with dry conditions for the weekend ahead, plus with warmer air returning to the forecast next week, maybe some more rain Monday through Christmas Day. Stay tuned for continued weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
