(NEWTON/OLNEY) Residents and vehicle-owners in Olney and Newton are reminded that the respective
“Snow Emergencies” remain in effect for both communities until further notice. All Emergency Snow Route Streets should remain clear of any vehicles in both cities as snow plows and salt trucks continue to clear each particular street. If out and about, all drivers should be alert to all snow plow & salt trucks in the days ahead in Newton & Olney.
(OLNEY/NEWTON) If travel is absolutely necessary, those out on township, county, and/or state highways
are encouraged to be especially careful. All drivers should be alert to the respective snow plow trucks and
salt trucks that are out trying to improve the driving conditions. Drivers should keep their distance from
these trucks, plus slow down while meeting them on area roadways. The best option, if possible, is to
simply stay put at home.
