(NEWTON) State Representative Adam Niemerg has announced he will be hosting his first “Coffee & Conversation” event in the new year, coming up two weeks from today, January 22nd, from 9:00 to 10:00 that morning, to discuss the impact of deer related to crop damage and the length of the current deer hunting seasons. Hosted by the Jasper County and Clark County Farm Bureaus, the event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Newton. All area farmers and outdoorsmen are invited while Representative Niemerg and special guests from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources will also be present.
