(OLNEY/NEWTON) Anticipation is growing for the 2025 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant, which will start a week from today, Thursday, January 16th, and continue the rest of that weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, up in Springfield. It’s all during the annual meeting and convention of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs. With 74 reigning county fair queens taking part, the actual competition will include 4-minute interviews with the judges on Friday, with the competition continuing on Saturday and the finals Sunday evening. Among the contestants are Miss Richland County Aubrey Lambird and Miss Jasper County Elise Wright, plus many other downstate area fair queens as well.
