In the LEIC 7th Grade Tournament at Hutsonville, the Newton Jasper County Junior Eagles faced Paris Mayo and lost 18-46.
- Grant Frichtl led the team with 10 points.
- Alex Keller and Maverik Horner were the top rebounders.
The 7th grade team is scheduled to host Teutopolis on Saturday.
The 8th grade Junior Eagles will play Lawrenceville tonight at Hutsonville.
