The Richland County School Board has appointed Mrs. Jennifer Weidner as the next Director of the Richland County Early Learning Center (RCELC) in Olney. She will officially assume her new role on July 1, 2025.
Mrs. Weidner’s Background in Education:
- 2004: Began as a substitute teacher for Richland County Schools
- 2005: Hired as a full-time teacher at Olney Elementary School
- Taught first grade for five years and kindergarten for two years
- Moved to administration as a Title I Parent Coordinator for ten years
- Transitioned to the Birth to Three Reflective Supervisor role with the development of the Early Learning Center
- Held the position of Pre-K Parent Coordinator for the past 13 years
With 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Mrs. Weidner brings extensive knowledge and dedication to her new leadership role at RCELC.
