(NEWTON) The Jasper County Law Enforcement “Shop With A Cop” fundraising “fish fry” is set for tomorrow evening at the West End Reception & Events Center in Newton. With the serving from 4:30 to 7:30 Friday night, folks can dine in or get their food by drive thru. The cost is $15 per adult for an all fish plate, $12 per adult for all-you-can-eat, or $8 for a kid’s plate. Plus RC Johnson will perform live from 5:30 to 8:30 and tickets will be on sale with at least 80 baskets to be raffled off. All proceeds to benefit children through the Jasper County Shop With A Cop program, which this past year assisted 69 local children during Christmas.
