RICHLAND COUNTY JUNIOR RECOGNIZED AS IFB’S ACTIVELY ENGAGED STUDENT OF THE MONTH

(OLNEY) A Richland County student has been recognized by the Illinois Farm Bureau. Junior Owen Kocher is the IFB’s Actively Engaged Student of the Month for March, as nominated by three different staff members at Richland County High School. While an active member of the Olney FFA Chapter, serving as Vice President locally and as Section 23 Secretary, Kocher is also very active in the Country Clovers 4-H Club, serving as Club President and taking part in meat evaluation, woodworking, and horticulture. Owen is also a three sport athete, competing in basketball, soccer, & track & field, plus serves as Student Chaplain for the local Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He’s the son of Gary & Beth Kocher.
