WEEKEND WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) A new month and a new break in the weather. It’s August and it’s our coolest start to a weekend since six weeks ago. As a high pressure is anchored over the Great Lakes region and the Upper Midwest, we’ll have plenty of sunshine today, tomorrow, and Sunday with comfortable humidity levels and a cool northeasterly wind flow, although smoke from Canadian wildfires will put a little haze in the sky. Our next chance of rain is the first of next week and then a little more heat returns later next week. Stay tuned for weather updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for weather forecast details.
